What is PhoneAvantage Digital Phone Service?
- PhoneAvantage Digital Phone Service is a full service international residential phone service. We offer long distant service world wide plus local phone services in USA and Canada. PhoneAvantage Digital Phone Service is used in the same way as your traditional phone service, but since it uses digital signals can offer lower ratest and better features.
Can I keep my current telephone number?
Is your phone service really optimized for calling India?
- Yes, we have worked with our providers to put together a package that includes 200 minutes of calling to India. On top of this we believe we have put otgether some of the best rates to India in the digital phone service community.
Can I surf the internet and talk on the telephone at the same time?
- Yes! PhoneAvantage provides a digital phone router that will allow you to simultaneously surf the internet and call friends and family in India or anywhere else in the world.
Does my Computer have to be turned on to receive calls?
- No, as long as your Internet connection is active, you can receive calls.
What kind of equipment do I need?
- A broadband (high speed Internet) connection is required. This can be through a cable modem, or high speed services such as DSL. The only other requirements are a digital phone router (which we provide) and a regular phone.
What do I do if I have an alarm system for my home?
- There are alarm monitoring companies that do support the Digital Phone Service platform, however, we strongly recommend that you check with your current alarm provider before making the decision to switch.
